An update from Romania

Our Upper School students are spending Half Term in Romania and we’re here to give you a mid-trip update on what they’ve been up to.

The students have settled into rural Romanian life and have enjoyed a wide variety of activities, both cultural and adventurous in nature.

The Upper School had a great trip to France

Last Sunday the upper school students and teachers loaded up two minibuses and headed for France. After a relatively long day of driving, breathing in the awesome French countryside, we arrived in a nice campsite in Chartres.

The first day of our trip was spent visiting the magnificent Chartres cathedral. The students were inspired by the incredible architecture and the famous Rose Window, and some of them managed to climb the bell tower for some spectacular views over Chartres.

Our Winter Sports Trip was a huge success!

During the February half term, fifteen students and teachers headed off to Mayrhofen on the annual Acorn Ski Trip. A great week was had by all and we were blessed with fresh snow on arrival, followed by a week of gorgeous sunshine, perfect pistes and endless runs throughout the whole of the Ziller Valley, including Graeme’s favourite, the Hintertux Glacier.

On one day most of the students decided to swap their skis for snowboards and spent the day on the slopes
