The whole school and many parents gathered in the school hall to watch class 2 and 3 perform their play ‘The Song of Hiawatha’, which they have enjoyed working on this term. This was a wonderful performance with some great costumes.
On Friday 22nd November at 12.15pm we are arranging a fundraising concert in the school hall. Rob Harbron and Miranda Rutter will be performing folk and traditional music.
This event is suitable for all ages.

The Acorn School community gathered in the hall for our annual Michaelmas challenges. A great time was had by all with the children displaying the gymnastic skills that they have been practising in their regular physical education lessons to the school community. It was great to see a selection of parents getting involved.

The whole school descended on Selsey Common for a wonderful afternoon of kiteflying and picnics to celebrate Michaelmas out in the autumn winds.
The upper school departed from the kite flying on Selsley common and drove to Woolacombe in North Devon. After setting up camp in a local, primitive campsite, we all headed down to Woolacombe beach for an evening swim. The waves were small but that didn’t stop the upper school students going in the autumn water.
