SATURDAY, 16TH MAY – After several years’ break, our Summer Fair was finally revived as a charity fundraiser for Acorn Overseas – a charity for children set up in 2010 by Graeme and Sarah’s daughter, Natasha Whiting.
For the past few years, Acorn Overseas has been largely focused on continuous fundraising efforts for the Future Light Children’s Home in Mae Sot, Northern Thailand. We have also been fortunate enough to share a connection with this orphanage through Natasha, and the proceeds

FRIDAY, 1ST MAY – This year, we were able to hold our May Day festival on May Day itself, which fell on a Friday. Despite the clouds veiling the sun from us that morning, we gathered in the playground to watch as the children took up the colourful ribbons of the waiting maypole.
Dressed in white shirts and floral dresses, and wearing beautiful garlands made of freshly-plucked wild flowers, our young ladies and gentlemen dutifully curtsied and bowed before setting off
Congratulations to our graduating students on receiving several offers, both conditional and unconditional, from their chosen universities!
The universities that have offered places to our students this year include University of Bath, University of Exeter, University of Manchester, University of Roehampton, and University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE).
We are very proud of all that our graduating students have achieved in their time at the school, and we look forward to enjoying a brilliant final term with them before we see them
