One of the fundamental aspects of the school is its emphasis on sports and outdoor education. It feeds into the core belief that for human beings to realise their full potential, being equipped with a physically fit and healthy body is vital.
The school’s approach on integrating
physical and outward-bound activities into pupils’ everyday lives means that our young people have the chance to regularly go on trips that include camping, hiking, surfing, and orienteering, among other things. Through undertaking these outdoor activities as a group, the students are able to grow their leadership skills and physical capability, as well as build on their friendships with classmates.
Older students also get to enjoy a week-long Summer Camp and Winter Camp each year, and various other big trips such as a Ski Trip and a three-week History of Art tour through Europe provide plenty of occasions for outdoors learning and adventure.
